The intimate Douro Prince joined the Uniworld fleet in April 2002 as the newest and most luxurious ship on the Douro River. Formerly called Alto Douro, this ship was completely rebuilt for the 2002 season.

about the Douro Prince
With a maximum capacity of only 48 guests, it truly provides the perfect small-ship ambiance much enjoyed by Uniworld's seasoned travelers. All public rooms are spacious and offer an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere. This beautiful ship has only 23 cabins and one suite. All cabins are outside, spacious, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. All have private bathroom with shower, adequate closet space, telephone, TV with local and onboard channels, and individually controlled air-conditioning and heating.
