 Viking River Cruise Line

Viking River Cruises was established in 1997 by a Scandinavian and Dutch consortium with extensive experience in passenger shipping, including past owners, board members and management of Royal Viking Line, Holland America Line, Kloster Cruise (NCL), and Silja Line. Following the purchase of KD River Cruises in 2000, Viking River Cruises became the largest river cruise line in the world. Its fleet of 30 boats ply the waterways of Europe and Russia, covering the Rhone, Seine, Volga, Yenisey, Ob, Rhine, Main, Danube, Elbe, Moselle and Po rivers.
