Excerpts from Windjammer's Website
about the Amazing Grace

Built in 1955 in Scotland, Pharos, braved the North Sea delivering supplies to lonely lighthouse keepers and servicing buoys along the coasts of England and Scotland. A "workhorse" vessel, her fine appointments were still elegant enough to play hostess to the British Royal Family.

Acquired by Windjammer in 1988 and re-named Amazing Grace, she carries on the tradition of old world charm and elegant service.
