If you've heard of a Carnival Cruise, then you're probably aware of their kids program, but have probably wondered what the best activities are on a Carnival kids cruiseMore often than not, you and your children are going to want to do different activities while on your cruise, and Carnival's kids program lends itself to that easily.

Activities for Kids 2 through 5

If you have a toddler, you've probably wondered what activities the carnival kids cruise can offer for them. Your toddler can do sing-a-longs with the cruise childcare professionals. If that's not what you're child is interested in, she can compete in a talent show or even sit down and listen to a story during story time. If your child is more artistic, she may want to make play dough sculptures, play picture bingo or even get her face painted. These are only a few of many, many more activities available for your children.

Activities for Kids 6 through 8

If your kids are around six through eight years old, they can participate in the junior cruisers program. If they want to watch cartoons, they can during cartoon time. If they're more interested in having a pizza party, that's included too. If your child is more interested in artwork, they can participate in spin art, candy art or sand art, or they can go get their face painted. If your child is more interested in video games, he can play the on board PlayStation 2 or play on the Mac computers. These are only a few of the activities that your children can participate in, in the junior cruisers program.

Activities for Kids 9 through 11

If your children are a little older but not quite teenagers yet, there's something for them too in the intermediate cruisers program. They can participate in the Edu-cruise educational program, watch movies, have dance parties, do a pizza pig out or even participate in their very own talent show. There's even a program for them called "swimming under stars," which allows them their own time to swim in the heated swimming pool at night.

Activities for Kids 12 through 15

The Carnival Cruise kids program has something for children of all ages, even young teenagers. Your young teenagers can participate in a myriad of different activities that the cruise liner offers. These include everything from their own late night karaoke party all the way to their very own shore excursions separate from the adults. If your teenagers are more interested in sports, then they can play in the "Exerseas" competitive indoor and outdoor games. These games are set up by the cruise ship staff and encourage, competition, sportsmanship and teamwork.


If you're teenagers are more of the dancing type, then they're in luck as well. The carnival cruise kids program for kids 12 through 15 has a nightly dance called the "mix and mingle" shipboard dance. This lasts from 9:30pm to 10:45pm. After that, your teens can join he Carnival Cruise youth staff for many other late night activities.
