We always get a military discount. It is available to all active and retired military. Most of the Crusielines offer it and yes you need your DD214. At times you can get 2 rooms at the discounted price. You can view these rates at Vacationstogo.com and cruise.com We booked through Carnival for our last cruise but now booking for our next cruise I find I can get it cheaper on line through one of the above websites. Their military rate is cheaper than going directly through Carnival for a military rate. If you want to do a Hawaiian cruise watch these websites Sept-Dec. This past year during these months on Norwegian the military rates for the Pride of Aloha, America and Hawaii were....$199.00 inside, $299.00 oceanview and $399.00 balcony. We already had our cruise planned but are planning on snatching up one of those deals for Dec if they are available this year. I already have our hotel room booked in Oahu at the military hotel Hale Koa which is a beautiful hotel right on the beach.
