They would earn back a lot of my respect if they enforced some of the luggage policies they share with us. For instance, we're always told to put our smaller items under the seat in front of us... but few ever do. There was, maybe, one time that I saw the flight attendants start removing backpacks from the overhead bins so that rollaboards could fit inside. This is only going to get worse with the new checked bag fees.

My next flight is in three weeks... a three-night business trip. I manage to get everything into a 19-inch rollaboard, and I also have a laptop case that is about the size of the laptop itself. This is well within the limits, and I hope I won't have to pay to have my bag checked if there is no room in the overheads.
Happy cruising!
