HAL has a daily newspaper (excerpts from the New York Times) which will be delivered to your cabin each morning along with other "junk". If you don't get a newspaper, you can pick one up at the front desk or in the Library.
It has all the latest news, crossword, sports scores, market updates, etc. etc.
This is not to be confused with the daily program which will be in your cabin each evening along with a chocolate on your pillow
