We are going on our first ever cruise on May 28th to Alaska on Island Princess. These are some of the shore excursions that we have booked.
Ketchikan in port 6:30a.m.-2:00pm (booked Lumberjack show (1 hour) and plan to walk the streets and do general exploring
Juneau in port 8am-9pm (we booked Mount Roberts Tram for the a.m. THEN the Deluxe Mendenhall Glacier trip and Juneau highlights tour from
Skagway in port 7am-8:30pm ( we booked the Summit, suspension bridge and salmon bake from
3-7 pm) Plan to explore the town in the morning.
Okay...all of you cruising veterans...did we make some good choices OR should we cancel and schedule other excursions? Not knowing what to expect makes it difficult to plan excursions. Looking for your expert advice...so let me have it! LOL
We haven't booked any excursions for the land portion of the trip yet. Should we do that now or wait until we arrive at McKinley, Denali, etc?
