First off, you can pick times in the year where kids are not as prevalent on ships, but unless it is a Hedonism cruise or a trip to a Sandals resort, they will be there. Please don't get me wrong, I sorta like kids... they are cute and fun to pick on but, when I am on vacation, I don't want to deal with them. As far as waiting till they go to sleep... Fat chance. Those kids will be roaming the decks until midnight.
