Hi SocaWarrior, welcome to Cruise-Chat. What a wonderful surprise to give your wife. Typically the longer the itinerary, the older the demographics. It does depend on the itinerary and the time of year, but the norm is an older clientelle for a 14 day itinerary. I don't think you'll have much to worry about, there is always a good mix on board and there will be people in your age group. Even though I am much closer to retirement age than you, we've been on many 10-14 day itineraries and have met people in all age groups. Don't count out us in our 50s, we can still hang with the best , but I do know what you mean. There will be others that you can have fun with. Always remember, if you're not happy with your tablemates you can request to be seated elsewhere. They will do everything in their power to make your voyage a memorable one. Best wishes and have a wonderful cruise! Be warned though, cruising is addictive
