We also did a Caribbean Cruise Thanksgiving week (2004) R.C. Mariner of the Seas. Loved it so much were going on the Freedom of the Seas Thanksgiving week this year! My son & nephew both 12 can’t wait, they loved camp last time and meet lots of kids from all over. And my son loved camp so much that he didn’t get off the ship, he wanted to go to camp instead! There are a ton of activities for the kids (especially Adventure Camp), miniature golf, basketball court, in-line skating, ice skating, swimming, game room, etc… I’ve only been on Royal Caribbean so I can’t speak for the other cruise lines. Camp is open until 10:00 p.m. and then from 10 p.m.-1 a.m. it was $5.00 per hour/per child. I was dragging my son out at 12:45 a.m. every night (or should I say early morning). He didn’t want to leave and there were plenty of other children still there at that time. I would suggest if you go Royal Caribbean to go on either the Voyager class ships or the new Freedom.
