You do not have to have any cruise in mind. You pay a fixed price (I think it is $100 per person on the NCB), and then when you decide to pull the trigger and book a specific cruise that money is credited towards the deposit. The NCB perk is onboard credit for the booked cruise, which varies based on the length of the cruise. I think it is $50 for 3 and 4 nights, $100 for 5-7 nights, and $200 for cruises over 7 nights long.
