Dave and Penny, its somewhat of an acquired taste like many things. Usually it is served from a chilled state and is spread on toast, bagel, english muffin or the such. Some like it with just a little cracked black pepper and others with a little bit of mustard. Its a great compliment to a French Canadian breakfast and the contents help to keep them warm, especially during the colder months. My wife used to make this but now we can buy great quality locally.
