Hi Kiwi Cruiser, welcome to Cruise-Chat. Congratulations on your upcoming cruise. If you'll look a little further down the main page, you will see our Roll Call Section. If your cruise is there, you can add your names by hitting the reply tab. If your cruise isn't there, click on the reply tab and add it. One of our moderators updates the list periodically. We haven't sailed on the Europa but have been on the Magica and Mediterranea. They were absolutely beautiful ships. The cabins were large and clean. The beds were very comfortable, and plenty of closet space. Costa is an Italian cruise line and offers a different product from the mainstream lines of HAL, NCL, RCL, Princess, Carnival, etc. If you've never cruised before, you won't have anything to compare it to. Costa is a very family oriented cruise line. The food is great, the activities on board are loads of fun, the staff is fun. You might have trouble finding English speaking crew members, but they all try, and a smile goes a long way. Make sure you dress for Toga night, it's usually the last night of the cruise. It's fun and take your camera to the dining room. We've sailed Costa 4 times and would not hesitate to sail on them again. Best wishes for a fantastic cruise, and once again, welcome aboard. If you'd like to see pictures of the Mediterranea, here are some of my pictures.
