There are very few times that I'll eat anchovies. One of them is in a salad. Most of what we get in the U.S. is not too good. I remember things like sardines and anchovies (and olives) tasted better in Europe. I currently have several cans of Spanish tuna in the cupboard - the stuff packed in olive oil. Man, is that good. Yeah, I paid almost $10 a can but quality costs sometimes. It makes you want to arrest anyone who sells Star Kist or Chicken Of The Sea.
My, how we've managed to let this thread get off-topic! The original question was about how much money to allot for each day of a cruise.
I'd say $100 is good. That seems to be what we go through, plus another $400-$500 in cash while ashore.
