I'm seriously contemplating canceling my transatlantic cruise. Sure it's only $140 tacked onto the price of the cruise, but at least I can feel I did something in protest. Canceling is a far greater sacrifice than dishing out another $140, but it's the principle. Either way I lose. One of my cruises in October of 2008 is paid in full. At least I won't have to pay a fuel surcharge on that one.
