With the hotel areas of NCL America's Pride of America
nearing completion, NCL is ready to pull back the curtain
a little and give you a sneak peek.
The line recently loaded a slide show artists'
renderings of the ship's public rooms on their website.

Because of the accident which submerged the lower
decks, the ship is being completed in an unusual way.
Work is being completed on the hotel facilities on the
upper decks because they were untouched when the ship
sank. The equipment in technical areas on the lower decks
was damaged when it went underwater, so its completion
was delayed when it had to be replaced. Therefore, the
crew is moving into the hotel areas and can begin
training and provisioning the ship shortly while the
technical areas are being completed, which is just
backwards of how ships are normally built.
