Lawd! Now I am lost! A simple country breakfast for me. I have never heard of doctoring up sausage gravy with additional herbs. That might have helped the Squirrel gravy I had when I was little though.
Grits are not my favorite either, I just happened to have some left from accomodating a visitor. I much prefer cream of wheat or oatmeal. Grits are one southern traditional food that I do some doctoring on.
A Grand Slam from Denny's basically fills me up and I skip lunch, and opt for a "Big Salad" for dinner.
