I'm glad Dave finally mentioned Alton Brown - my absolute favorite. I'm a bit of a foodie myself and he teaches how food
works. Once you know that, you know how to create other dishes without making a mess. Plus, his show is different from all the other shows - not just "here are my ingredients, here is what you do with them"
Though, I have to admit, Sandra and Giada are much nicer to look at...
