No matter how responsible, I would not reccomend letting a 10 yr. old roam around a ship on their own(it is difficult for adults to keep in touch).On our last two cruises my 8 yr old granddaughter loved Camp Carnival, while the 5 yr old grandson wanted nothing to do with it. I hope he will try again when we go in June.She will be 9 but we will check her in and out.
