I'm going on an Alaskan cruise for the first time in about a month. I did some reading up on the Northern Lights and from what I read, you have to go up to Fairbanks Alaska to be able to really see them.

Going to be going to Alaska (Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Ketchikan) at the end of July/beginning of August.
1. What are the chances of seeing the Northern Lights?
2. Which whales/wildlife are abundant at that time of year?
