My daughter is 13. She is now "eligible" to hang out with her 17 year old sister at the older events. Up until this year, she has always wanted to go to CC. Last year there were other boys and girls her age in the 9-11 yr. old group. He won't be alone. They do more age appropriate activities with them, like video games, pizza party, ice cream socials, swimming under the stars. There are even excursions now just for CC kids.
Camp Carnival's age group for 13 year olds is the 12-14 year old group. Your daughter won't be able to hang too much with your 17 year old daughter since she will have Club O2, and they are really strict on the activities about letting the kids under 15 participate with the older teens. Camp Carnival is now split up in age groups: 2-5 Toddlers, 6-8 Juniors, 9-11 Intermediate and 12-14 teens. Then the 15-17 year olds for Club O2. Until my daughter turned 15 she was not allowed to participate in the older activities, they actually checked for ID's, also 15-17 year olds do shore excursions and the younger kids cannot participate in these.
