NYCBeach, another option for dinner is room service. I'll have to check further on whether being a Verandah Suite guest gives you a more extensive menu. (Anyone know?) Yet, I do highly suggest enjoying dinner in the dining room. The maitre d' may be able to arrange a table for you, either by yourself or with other solo travelers. (It might be awkward being at a table with a family group, for instance.)

I've seen FOD meetings in the programs of most of my cruises. I've heard that passengers will occasionally have to ask at the Front Desk to have one arranged, though, and that if enough passengers ask, it will start appearing in the program.
