Were the improvements to the port coming out of the pathetic state budget? If so, I wonder if they slashed the budgets like they did with the education budgets? That would put a serious damper on improving the port. I would love to see more ships sailing out of Mobile! Oops that was more of a thread drift, sorry.
As richjester stated, it is quieter on the lower decks because there is less foot traffic and children running up and down the hallways.
