I really wouldn't want to drive in Cozumel either. The roads and the drivers can be a challenge if you aren't used to it, especially when I'm there just for 8 hours. It would be different if I was staying there at a resort. I would have time to get used to things and the traffic flow. Cabs are everywhere and cheap.
