Hello rbum,
it has been many years since I have been in Alaska; I was not even aware Princess had a train out of Juneau. But I have done the White Pass out of Skagway, and it is spectacular. I have to think any train excursion in Alaska has to be well worth it.
I'm sure someone else will have more information on the trip you are asking about.
