Chef Ken-We were able to get the reservations we desired with little or no problems-we did go to the Maitre de at each venue to make the reservations as we wanted to personally tour the ship as much as possible. We dined under both the Early Bird specials and the later reservations at full charge. The restaurants were never overly crowded, the meals were excellent and well worth the additional fees. Dining in the regular venues was equally good-we were so pleased with NCL's Dawn and the overall "freestyle" concept we booked a Jan 2008 cruise on the new Gem.
Many experienced cruisers were so pleased with the Dawn cruise that they also rebooked future NCL cruises while aboard. We have 15 cruises to our experience but this was the first time we saw so many rebookings. It was very impressive!
