This is how the piers currently stand:
Punta Langosta - fully functional, can dock 2 ships (there's a story about the Mexican President re-opening it on this
Cozumel travel site)
SSA International Pier - able to dock 1 ship, hoping to dock 2 ships again later this year. Also open for tenders.
Puerta Maya Pier - not able to dock, reconstruction underway, varying estimates for when it'll re-open between Summer 2007 and 2008. I think it can still accept tenders at the moment though.
So, yes, good news, a smaller proportion of passengers will need to tender overall now..
