Not so sure the vet must travel. My mother and my daughter (staying in my mother's cabin) were able to get a military discount based on my father's service. My father is deceased, so therefore.. not able to do the traveling. Don't know for sure if they will still gives vet widows the discount, but all we needed was his discharge papers and a copy of the death certificate for her to get it. For some of you, that may be worth asking about if you are in that situation.
