Welcome back, Laurie That you for the great and honest review. I haven't sailed on the Crown, but did fine the Caribbean and Emerald to be a bit hard to navigate. My favorite class is the Sun class ships, you can get from point A to point B without running an obstacle course.

Did they have the Sanctuary on board? Did you try that? It was $10/pp for a half day on the Emerald and Caribbean. It was a great place to get away and relax.

I agree, Princess ships do not have the "glitz" that RCCL ships do, they are more sedate. They're just a "fit" for me. I also love Costa. Sounds like all in all, y'all had a good cruise and had $2000 you could play with. Sorry to hear the shows weren't that good. I usually am in the casino, and don't go to many of them.

The lady I'm going with on the Valor has never cruised before, so I'm sure I'll be going to the shows. I hope they're good, but have a feeling they'll be the normal singing/dancing type stuff. Not that it's a bad thing, it's just that after a few hundred shows, it's more like a repeat.

Glad you enjoyed the food. I LOVE their pizza and pastries. The rest is pretty dang good, too. Did you try the Crown Grill or Sabatini's?
