thanks, penny, that helps....im sure the weather is similar, so its a good comparison....we are forced to do a land based vacation this year (heresy, i know!), and just wanted to make sure that the january weather wouldn't be disappointing.....actually, from the reading ive been doing, it might even be better - less rain, low humidty, and we won't have to deal with oppressive heat (though hopefully still warm/hot)

ill miss cruising, but im excited about trying an all inclusive
