Actually the dining room is respected as an experience by some and they dress appropriately.
Regular nights casual wear, no shorts etc.
Formal nights, jacket and tie for the guys and a nice dress for the ladies. Some go beyond and wear tuxes, and the ladies really dress up.
This in regarding the dining room and not the casual get some food venue.
