Unless their contract has change since a few months ago,if you cancel your tip any money you give directly to the waiter/waitress at the end of the cruise goes into the general kitty and not to the waiter/waitress. If you keep the tip on your account and give a little extra to a waiter/waitress that you think did an outstanding job, then they get to keep the extra money. Sunprincess would know better if this has changed since my last cruise in February.
