You also need to factor in where you will be cruising. I think (in normal weather) you will feel less motion in the Southern Caribbean than Eastern or Western Caribbean and less in the Western than the Eastern. Now, if you are doing a cruise from New York through the Atlantic Ocean to the Bahamas, the waters could get a little rough.
