I remember cruising on the Norway in 1994 and our dinner table was great. The CD sat with us (Pam Petcash) on most nights but not for the whole meal. Best of all was the other guests. They were all of Italian heritage - a couple from Boston (he was a firefighter for the city of Boston), and the other couple was from Montreal. We hit it off in a big way. It was so much fun. Anyway, back then they had this roving musical duo of a violinist and accordion player. On the last night of the cruise the two Italian men called the musicians over and asked them to play "O Solo Mio". They then stood up and sang it to the dining room. It was wonderful! They got a standing O from the entire dining room and staff, and the maitre'd sent over two bottles of wine for the whole table.
