We used to buy those big chewy bones for our dogs as Christmas presents. Our chocolate lab would have his gone in two days, working on it continuously. Our Irish Setter would linger over hers for a week or more. She'd leave it for a while and the lab would try to steal it. Bad idea, which he never completely learned.
