I have not used a cruise brochure since booking my first cruise. The main reason why is boards such as this that provide a wealth of more realistic information. Also, since the same info is on the cruiseline's own site, I'm quite comfortable going there.

If I did have to request a change, it would be for the cruiseline to more openly disclosure additional charges. For example, they make glowing remarks about the various dining venues some of which might require additional payment. The same goes for onboard charges such as Bingo, Craft classes ... full disclosure is better customer advocacy IMO.
