Orlando would probably be better. Depending upon how many of you there are, the options would be either to do a 1-way car rental or purchase transfers through the cruise line. It's a good 45 minutes or so to Port Canaveral from Orlando, so don't do a taxi, as it will be over $100. Transfers are usually around $35 per person, depending upon what cruise line you go on.
