DH and I took a cab from the center into town, I believe at that time we paid $5 each. It's true, there's not much in town. There is a small museum, but it was $10 to get in, which we thought was a bit steep. However, we stopped in at the "tourist bureau" and talked with a man who was some sort of island funtionary who was extremely friendly and very informative about the history - and future - of the island. We also met an elderly man working in a local warehouse who told us of his time in the Dutch Merchant Marines during WW II. He was so very proud of his island, it's history and it's future prospects. The island is small, but worth, I think, some little bit of exploration. Good luck and enjoy. Susan
