A little missed out sidelight on Carnival leaving Mobile is that it also means Carnival will no longer cruise to Calica (Palya Del Carmen.) We have only been there twice, and the first time to the Mayan Ruins. Playa is a beautifu little city with nice beach and a place I want to explore more.

I hope to book the Oct. 13 cruise on the Elation, as it will be the last planned trip to Calica.

As of now, Mazatlan is the only Mexican port Carnival is not going to, on the West Coast.
