Welcome back jargey3000. Glad to hear it was at least OK. I'm not into the huge ships, either, although I thoroughly enjoyed the Epic. The shows were great, Blue Man, Second City, Legends, etc.
The reasons I love cruising so much are: The ships, the ocean, the ports, the food, unpacking once, snorkeling, hot tubs, fantastic crews, awesome destinations, being pampered, the ocean breeze, the activities, not having to worry about what I'm going to have for dinner, not having the worry about driving, not having to worry about anything.
Y'all can have the land vacations. I love waking up in a new port every day
