For Kusadasi we did the ship's tour the Ephesus but you can try Ekol Tours for private guide or now I see there is a shuttle to Ephesus
If you are into shopping lots of stores near the port to haggle 
Athens again we did the ship's tour it was great but it depends on what you want to see/do there
we also spent 2 days in Athens on our own
