The good thing about a GPS is you don't have to fold it.

Ours is a Garmin, picked up a cheap refurb unit. I was afraid I would not like it. Was also afraid that it would take us down roads we shouldn't be on.

Ours is about 3 years old also. Mandy (My wife named it Mandy after the voice she choose) died last month. Battery was dead. I youttubed it and bought a battery for $4.95, she now works fine.

We will get a new one someday, but not right away. We do use it a lot.
