Carnival is in the process of financing a 65 Million docking facility at Maimon Bay, North of Puerto Plata in Dominican Republic. It will be able to accommodate two post-Panamax size cruise ships. The facility will have retail shopping, dining, and recreation. This could provide new options. The facility is projected to be completed in Fall 2013.
