I read the review from a (former?) blogger regarding his take on gratuities....ie..he hands them out on the 2nd night out, then gives additional or extra tips on the last night depending on service.
Has anyone done this and would it really help with service, which I usually find sufficient?
Also, I assume additional $'s are needed on excursions for tipping drivers, etc? Would $1 or $2 be sufficient in these cases?
My grand kids will be along on this cruise so what about $ for crew members who give them instruction on the rock climbing wall and/or ice skating? I don't want to insult anyone
Thanks for all the advise given on this board. It really is interesting to learn about the different aspects of cruising.
