In case anyone didn't realize my post was "tongue in cheek". I think everyone knows that nothing is really "fair" when it comes to booking cruises or for that matter any segment of travel. There are many discounts for various reasons ie: military discounts, past guests, residents, even for interline, police and fireman. Some people might not think some of those are fair. We all know if the ship isn't filling they are going to discount to fill the ship. It's all a gamble when you book.
