On our first cruise, which was a theme cruise with Richard Petty, his family, and his racing entourage, we were seated at the dreaded table for 4. The other couple worked for Richard. The lady was very nice (she made the team uniforms) but her husband (who had some flunky job with the racing team) was a jerk. When we sat down on the first night he was whining about how he wasn't at the same table as Richard, or even close to it. Apparently he felt he was much more important than he really was. He got over it after a couple days and things got better, but he still mostly ignored us and that was fine too. We didn't know any better at the time or we would have asked for a new seating assignment.
This guy could have used some lessons in class and how to treat people from his boss.
