That would depend what you want to experience. A swim is actually getting in the water and swimming/riding with the dolphin. An encounter may be just sitting on a platform in the pool and reaching over and touching the dolphin. Swims are generally more expensive. I would think whether you do it in Cabo or Puerto Vallarta, either place would be amazing.
