Personally, the recent accidents wouldn't cause me to avoid cruising. I agree with the others here that most of the public has a short memory, although we'll have to see what happens with the Concordia event, as to whether or not that gets to trial.
I'm trying to decide when I can go on another cruise, as work is crazy right now, so my next cruise may not be until 2013.
