Default Carnival ship moves and new itineraries
There are lots of exciting ship moves and new itineraries coming in the next year with Carnival. This will be the last year for the CCL Spirit to sail Alaska. After this season the Spirit will sail over to Australia to sail year round from Australia to South Pacific and New Zealand. The ship will be marketed mostly to Australians and the ship will be refitted with their electricity. Currency used on the ship will be Australian dollars.

The Carnival Miracle will move from New York in March 2013 doing a 16-day Panama Canal on it's way to Long Beach. It will sail Mexican Riviera cruises and also five Hawaii cruises until May, when it sails up to Seattle to replace the CCL Spirits Alaska itinerary. The Carnival Splendor currently in Long Beach will leave in Feb 2013 doing three special South American cruises on it way up to New York where it will then sail year round voyages to the Caribbean.

The Carnival Valor will be heading to San Juan in Feb 2013 to replace the Carnival Victory, which will be coming back to Miami to do 4/5 day cruises to replace the Carnival Destiny. The Carnival Destiny will then leave for an 18 day Transatlantic to Venice for it's complete 49-day, $155 million remake into the Carnival Sunshine. When the CCL Sunshine comes out of dry-dock in April 2013 it will remain in Europe for the summer doing 9-day and 12-day cruises between Venice and Barcelona. In November 2013 she will do a 16-day Transatlantic from Barcelona to New Orleans where she'll replace the Carnival Conquest. The Conquest will move to Miami to do seven night Eastern and Western cruises.

The Carnival Legend will be leaving Tampa in April 2013 to do a Transatlantic to Dover, England. The CCL Legend will then do 17 European cruises between April 22-October 31, 2013. She will do several different itineraries to the Norwegian Fjords (a first for Carnival), as well as British Isles, Baltic, and Mediterranean. In November 2013 the CCL Legend will sail a 15-day Transatlantic back to Tampa.

Looks like there's lots of exciting opportunity for those looking for something different.
